Carousel 1.2 Now Available

Christmas just came early for Carousel and Instagram fans. This release is a big update that focuses on efficiency, brings multiple window support and our new favorite feature, single photo view.

Here’s what else is new:

New

• Multiple windows. Keep windows open for all the views you want to watch.
• Single photo view. See all the comments and likes in one view underneath a photo.
• Emoji support. Photos posted from iOS 5 will display Emoji in Carousel on Lion.

Fixed

• Lower memory footprint. We re-engineered much of the original engine for increased efficiency.
• Fixed repeating photos in “My Photos” tab.
• More distinct follow button with unfollow warning. No more accidental unfollows!
• Fixed numerous label positioning issues.
