Absolutely! Yes. You will never find another similar technology social gathering that is the same. 

Last night was another great example of how you can meet so many interesting and diverse individuals. In one night I had conversations on photography, video, news, design, software, sports, housing, jobs, and education. And it all took place in less than an hour and a half. With the common bond of a platform bringing you together, it is amazing how much you already feel like you know people. You’ve seen many of them online, heard from them, and it is intriguing to meet the faces behind the online identities.  

And then there is the after party. No, not that kind (we know what you are thinking TopherChris). The part where you get to in a way revisit the party through a lot of different individual’s eyes the next day on Tumblr. New friends were gained, new ideas were generated, and you spent a night living Tumblr instead of being on it. 

So look up the next Tumblr Meetup near you. Take a chance and you may just find that it is a lot more enjoyable than you ever could have imagined.
